Job Description

​

Preschool Teacher & Substitute Teacher - Ensure a safe and healthy environment, provide appropriate adult supervision for all children, provide a stimulating, cognitively challenging classroom, plan and execute appropriate learning experiences indoors and outdoors. Provide language and literacy activities in both English and Spanish, evaluate and asses individual child's progress. Help kids prepare for meals.

 

Entry level qualifications: 12 semester units of Early Childhood Education from the following areas:

- Child Growth and Development

- Child, Family and Community

- Pre-School Curriculum: Art, Literature or Music

**Teachers can begin work with Only 6 semester units in the above course area if they are registered to complete the required units.

 

Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish but not mandatory

** Teacher's Aide - Assist teacher with all the above duties: Early Childhood Units not needed but preferred

Salary varies depending on education and experience.

Salaries range from: $25,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
